Short Moral Stories - The Lion and the Mouse

                    The Lion and the Mouse

In the heart of the jungle, there lived a mighty lion named Leo. He was feared by all animals due to his strength and ferocity. One day, while Leo was sleeping, a tiny mouse named Max accidentally ran over his nose and woke him up.

Enraged, Leo caught Max and was about to eat him when Max pleaded, “Please let me go, and I promise I will help you someday.” Leo laughed at the idea of such a small creature being able to help him but decided to let Max go.

A few months later, Leo was caught in a hunter’s trap. He roared and struggled, but the net was too strong. Max heard Leo’s roars and rushed to see what had happened. Seeing Leo trapped, Max remembered his promise and started gnawing at the ropes of the net.

With his sharp teeth, Max managed to cut through the ropes and free Leo. The mighty lion couldn’t believe that the tiny mouse he had once ridiculed had saved his life.
